We are pleased to announce the official release the Bifrost Asgard CC1 network today, a pre-production network for Bifrost that allows partners to dock to the Asgard network to test and rule out business risks before officially connecting to the Bifrost main network, while the Asgard network will also be more radical in its iteration and innovation. Asgard is like a chaotic proving ground, with more valuable features selected for practical integration into the Bifrost main network, and as the Polkadot ecology evolves, the planned Bifrost Asgard will also become Kusama’s parachain network to complete the first parachain docking.

The current release is Bifrost Asgard CC1 (Chain Candidate 1) version 1 candidate chain (version number asgard-v0.3.2). Asgard is expected to go through three iterations of CC 1–3 candidate chain versions to complete the official version of Asgard. Currently Runtime already supports EOS Jungle Testnet cross-chain, Token and vToken exchange, SWAP transactions, etc. To coincide with the official launch of the Bifrost Asgard CC1, a total of 3000 BNC prizes will be awarded for the Twelve Hours of Asgard Running Festival.

Note: Bifrost plans to bid on Polkadot parachain that will share the Polkadot Consensus when we become parachain, and whose nodes are Collector, without Staking and Blocking.

--name "NodeName | ABCDEFJHIJ"

Parameters Description

  • ABCDEFGHIJ is the top 10 digits of the Bifrost address.
  • Node name and Bifrost address are split by | delimiter

Note: A balance in the Bifrost address is required to identify the full address by the first 10 digits, which can be picked up at Telegram Faucet BOT.

What is Bifrost?

Bifrost is a Parachain designed to liberate Staking liquidity. Users can convert PoS currency to Bifrost vToken through Bifrost bridge at any time to obtain Staking income and liquidity.

vToken can optimize transactions in multiple scenarios such as DeFi, Dapp, DEX, etc. When vToken is used as a collateral for lending, its staking income can offset part of the interest and realize low-interest borrowing.
