RainBot Discord: How to get started.

Bifrost Team has recently launched a new Discord Bot called RainBot, on our Discord channel. RainBot will grant access to those who participated in one or more Rainbow Boost campaigns over the past months to link their Web2 Identities (Discord ID) with their Web3 ones (BNC addresses).

RainBot allows Bifrost to generate a permissioned user list for roles within the Official Bifrost Discord Server.

Based on the current point categorization, we set up the following roles:

Other roles in our Discord server include:

OG Viking - Obtained after the first Kusama Bifrost Crowdloan.
Midgardian - Basic role users receive when joining the Discord server.
Collator Guardian - Dedicated collator role for specific communication.

Currently, these roles attract no benefits as RainBot is a screening tool for loyal user identification. Over the year, Raindrop Roles will start enjoying benefits such as exclusive access to protocol updates, NFT public sales, product releases and other rewards.

Linking Web2 & Web3

Bridging the Web2 and Web3 identities of our users, will make easier the Discord reach-out in case of launches and user BNC address recognition. Streamlining this link enables us to amplify user experience within the Bifrost ecosystem. More than that, it creates avenues for participation rewards through the Rainbow Boost Campaign.

How to Get your RainBot Role in Discord

First of all, jump on Bifrost Discord and go to the #raindrop-verification Channel, then follow this tutorial our Discord-Admin SupDup44 (Thomas) made, to help our users and link your Discord ID to your BNC address.
